Angels in the Shadows

What does it mean to be a fallen? To be shunned by your fellow angels because you have grown weary of being a tool that has never experienced true emotions while the beings you watched day and night live their short lives to the fullest, filled with grief and love that you would never experience. How would it feel to be cast out from heaven like a leaf that has withered and crumbled, being thrown from its place on a tree branch to the dark mysterious earth below in hopes of living once again and becoming a true being of its own? How would it feel as you felt the one thing your life centered around be torn from you and the strings that held you to your puppeteer where cut from your body? How would it feel to be free for once but never be able to feel like you are whole again and have to live with always being different? With what consequences and cost would your new found freedom come from?

If you were an angel, would you rebel against the judgment of your creator if it wanted to destroy what it had created and had you protect for so long. Would you find being able to feel and have emotions worth being tossed from heaven and having your wings torn from your back in an effort to punish you. What would you do if god and the other angels turned their backs on you for loving the world more then you love the one who created it? Would you fall to protect the things you love? Would you fall to become something you’re not and try to blend in with the beings you used to protect? Though you have abilities they do not and the scars that where left on your back from where your wings used to be will give you a way to any angel hunter who sees them, will you be able to survive? Will you be destroyed by the demons who hunt after you in search of power, wanting to use your spirit to become more powerful and turn you into a demon yourself? In what seemed like the ideal world, will you be able to survive even though all the odds are against you?
